Gregory General Farms, the
distributor of Gregory's Hickory Smoke
Bits, is a family
owned business which has roots tracing back to 1840 and was originally
incorporated by Colonel Stone Gregory, Jr. The headquarters is
located in Java, Virginia which is a rural community in Southside
Virginia approximately 20 miles from Danville, Virginia.
Gregory's Hickory Smoke
Bits... have been the choice of discriminating users since
1940. After a growing period of 25 to 50 years, when the Hickory trees reach
their peak in aroma and flavor, they are harvested, debarked and cut cross
grain to produce the Hickory Bits. No trees alien to the famous Hickory are
used by Gregory Farms in producing Gregory's Hickory Smoke Bits.
This product is packaged in 2.25 pound, 10.0
pound, and 50.0 pound bags for consumer distribution. We also
offer several packing options for the 2.25 and 10.0 pound bags which
will generally save you some money when shipping is calculated.
The product is packaged in bags that can
"breathe" or allow air to circulate so the product will not mold in
storage and will deliver the premium taste you desire when used.
Commercial meat packers generally purchase
multiple 50.0 pound bags of Gregory's
Hickory Smoke Bits which are consolidated on pallets for
shipment. The product is also available in bulk. Please
